Resident Company Secretary

The role of Company Secretary is a statutory one which must be performed by a competent individual to ensure full compliance with the authorities. The responsibilities of the company secretary depend on the size and nature of the company. In general, they include:
  • maintaining the company’s statutory registers;
  • updating the records held by the company registry house or authority;
  • organising the company’s board meetings and Annual General Meeting;
  • minuting all board meetings of the company;
  • ensuring company compliance with legal obligations;
  • maintaining such other registers and records that the company may be required to keep;
  • maintaining the company’s statutory registers.
